About Socials
Socials are a great way to come meet and spend time with your fellow SWEsters! The Socials Co-Chairs plan events that are fun, relaxing, collaborative, and creative.
During the fall semester, Socials plans two events and does not have a committee. During the spring semester, Socials will have a committee to help plan the banquet. This is a great opportunity to get involved in a creative and innovative process. If you are interested in joining the Socials Committee, keep an eye out for advertisements at the start of the spring semester. Howdy! My name is Catherine Castaneda, a Petroleum Engineering student from San Antonio, TX. I'm excited to return as a fourth-year SWE officer, now serving as this year’s Socials Chair! With my previous experience in SWE, I’m looking forward to helping members grow closer through our various social events and opportunities. I can’t wait to meet more of you and support your career at SWE!

Howdy! My name is Khushi Kulkarni, and I am a freshman general engineering major from Spring, TX. I have been involved in SWE as a part of the Big Little Program, LEAP program, and HSC. I have loved my experience being in SWE, and I am very excited to serve as one of the Socials Co-Chairs for this year! In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and friends, and traveling. I am looking forward to another amazing year with SWE!
