Public Relations
About Public Relations
Our Public Relations includes the management of the website, Instagram page, Discord promotions, LinkedIn page, and more. PR also includes marketing and design for these platforms. The PR officer manages a committee that designs flyers for and takes pictures at the 40+ SWE events held per semester. Members of the committee will be challenged to develop their business, marketing, and design skills to best represent SWE to the Texas A&M student body and SWE's extensive network of professional partners and sponsors. Leadership
PR looks for strong individuals who are interested in stepping into real leadership roles to help better themselves and the people around them.
Marketing
PR provides members with opportunities to learn and improve on essential business skills like marketing, communication, and management to develop well rounded engineers.
Design
Members are encouraged to further their design skills through many different medians including graphic design, merchandise design, and even video editing.
Photography
Members have the opportunity to strengthen their photography skills by photographing SWE events and showcasing the organization's programs, members, and community.

Divya Pochimcherla
Howdy! My name is Divya Pochimcherla and I am a junior Mechanical Engineering major from Austin, TX. I first got involved with SWE as a SWElite and HSC committee member during my freshman year, and later had the opportunity to serve as an HSC co-chair. I'm excited to serve as the PR chair this year!
